Handling & Care
It is important to show respect for the flag by keeping it in good condition. Harsh weather can damage the fabric so it is best to keep it away from any conditions that could alter its integrity. Display your flag on days where there is no rain, snow or strong wind. It is normal practice to bring your flag inside when weather conditions are not optimal.
When displaying your flag outside, keep it away from anything that could cause wear. It is best to place it in an area that is free from objects that can cause rips or tears. (rough surfaces, branches, wires..etc) In the event that your flag should become torn, it is ok to repair it. Should your flag become dirty, wash it with a mild soap and dry it on a gentle cycle or lay it flat. Note: do not let the flag soak as the colors may run together.
If preferred, it is also acceptable to dry clean it.
